The Faithful Pixel is now priced in Dollars

After a successful first trip to the USA, I have now transitioned the site in US Dollars. (Hurray I hear all the American's say). This will actually make each square slightly cheaper for our UK & European customers too. The rate today makes each pixel block £15.95 - a saving of just over £4 per block.

The other great news is the PR Campaign is going to start on the 1st of September, so the BIG PUSH will be on. TV adverts, Magazine Adverts, editorial all over the place - we are working hard now to build our databases to get the word out.

We've also started to have more interest from further afield. Here are some stats since we started on the 1st June (19 days ago).

Britain currently generates 47.3% of all traffic and the USA 35.4% of all traffic with 17.3% of the traffic coming from everywhere else.

Israel, India, Malaysia, China, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Philippines, East Timor, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Russia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Great Britain, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Spain, Latvia, Greece, Portugal, Ukraine, Norway, Cyprus, Italy, Romania, Lithuania, Turkey, Estonia, Sweden, Croatia, Denmark, USA, Canada, Panama, Cayman Islands, Nicaragua, Colombia, Uruguay, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Uganda, Kenya, Mauritius, Tanzania, Congo, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, Ghana, Seychelles, Sudan, Gambia, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, Zambia.

Our top ten pixel ads have so far had 1,312 clicks through to their website so far, meaning the average website i the top ten will achieve 6,822 clicks during the life of their advert, AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED THE PR CAMPAIGN YET.

So with 11 weeks to go until the BIG PUSH - advertising campaign, it's time to get your advert on before all the best places at the top of the page disappear. We're allocating an average of 68 blocks per day, so at this rate we will be sold out of advertising space in 128 days.

New Advert finds bookings for Evangelist

Look what happened to my own blog traffic

To bear out the growth that pixel advertising is having on my own blog www.carlbrettle.com I've isolated a graph of traffic for the last few weeks and you can see highlighted by the red box, what has happened since I took out a 4x4 block advert on www.thefaithfulpixel.com - the amount of visitors has basically doubled - it's been quite amazing, and we haven't really started yet.

Traffic for 31-05-06 - Hit's 50% of our daily annual target!

When the site was setup, to goal was simple, to get 10 million page hits per year. This would make the value of www.thefaithfulpixel.com to our customers very real and tangible.

Well just 10 days after launch, we had 14,292 page hits in one day, which means at this level the page hits per year would total 5,216,580 (over half of the target).

This put us approx. three months ahead of schedule, we were expecting it to take a good three months to gain that momentum.

Things are picking up

Well in the launch week we had 3,400 hits to the site as people started to investigate the concept. Our newest Pixel ad's are from Fusion (Student Ministry), UCB, Tom & Iris Ross, Sporting Marvels and DeltaForce33K.

It's great to see how the concept is being used, as we build space to express our partnerships and also create a valuable connection space for Christians interested in connecting with ministries they hadn't come across before.
